So about a week ago, I got a sub and an amp for my Infiniti i30 t. My Buddy's dad and I hooked it up to the battery and everything, and we thought that the bose head unit would have the RCA hookups, but when we took it out we realized it didn't. So now i have wires going up but not hooked into the system, and I was wondering, is there a way to hook up my amp into this Bose premium head unit?

the bose unit is matched to the speakers and is not compatable with after market items. You don't need all that extra noise anyway. Hearing aids are expensive.

I have 2000 I30t. I got amp and sub

5th gen bose amp diagram zerothread/157919 if u using mono amp for sub u should be able to pick preout inputs(either both front or both rear speakers) that come into the bose amp. if u use line converters that are mentioned in the previous article the preamp in lines might not work the signal might be to low then u would alternatively tap into one pair of output. blue on/off sub amp wire can be connected to 25.

If i get line converter i was thinking if im able to get something for the small wires like low voltage push in connectors then ill use that.

you need a RCA conversion adapter. Go to your local audio store and get the cheap little unit or spend some more money and get a MTX re-q.

My suggestion- get the cheap one for the time being, Metra is finally making a dash install kit for our cars so we can finally strip out the subpar bose system all together.

Tell that to my dual 12's, there's ways around it. The main thing for me was getting rid of the horrible rattle coming from the stock sub, an aftermarket box solved my problem.

Update: just bought some Posi-Tap connectors to connect my sub amp to the wiring....my sub was broken since i bought the car so i did disconnect to get rid of that rattle..: if u wana spend some cash can use this http://www.autosoundcentral.com/product_p/aoemnis2.htm

another project gona be to connect pioneer avic bt500 gps and mybe build fiberglass dashboard for it.... and another project to wire the input of PDM35/IS335 kit for external players - thinking through cd changer wiring since then I could use stereo button to switch between sources.. who uses cd changer anyways.. :)
