what's up whoever.2 quetions 1997 infiniti qx4
1. rear speaker harness (smaller harness) that plugs into radio was cut does anyone know the color code for the wires.
2. when installing the new radio i noticed that both my fuses for audio operation were blown. replaced--radio comes on but there is no audioI have had aftermarket radios before and i know that you can install them with an input level converter. so i hooked that up (radio speaker outputs to input converter input and output to harnesse connector right?) assuming that's right i can't think of problem other than my audio amp may be blown . if so can i check it? where are they?any suggestions

What car is it? What year is it? Did it have factory amps? I personally would bypass all factory stereo wiring....... i just don't trust it.

yeah i guess that would help huh? 97 qx4 i've used the factory wires and speakers before and it sounded great (bose) so i would like to keep them if i could

ok well here's the wiring codes and as for the other problems i'd say try running new wires since there could be a short.. 1997 Infiniti QX4 Stereo Information
