So let me start by saying hello to everybody here! I'm new to the boards and just bought my first Z few months ago and love driving this beast. Its a 90 TT, original not converted, and had been driving great since I got it. I have been working on going thru the basic maintenance as I have time. But all of a sudden today the hicas, brake, and lights warnings came on and stay on, and the factory boost gauge stays locked at -14 psi. I have checked the power steering and its full. When its idling at start its fine, but when I come to stop or engine revs go down from anywhere it wants to die.

I haven't had a chance to run diagnostics thru computer yet, as am working in a new house for today for move in this weekend. Ant advice would be great. And have searched forums a Lil and plan on getting done vacuum lines replaced and see if that is it, but wasn't sure if any surprise are coming my way.

Do the warning lights come on and stay on? or do they kind of flicker on and off or come and go?

The lights stay on solid, and the boost gauge reads full vacuum whole time, I do have a greddy boost gauge that has stayed working just fine. When was driving earlier all of a sudden the factory boost started working and the lights went off, but only lasted about 10sec, by the time I saw it the gauge stopped working and lights came back on.

Also something I forgot, the idle had dropped from around 800-1000 down to only 500. With all things happening at same time, so assume from single cause.

Sounds like MAF or IACV. Check for codes first, the MAF will throw one. Then try moving the IACV screw to see if anything changes. http://www.nicoclub.com/archives/adjust ... level.html

And welcome to Nico!

I'd check your TPS and set your voltage: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Throttle+Position+Sensor
And then make sure your idle has been adjusted properly: http://z32.wikispaces.com/Idle+Control

UPDATE: So went thru lot of connectors and wasn't finding any issues. once actually tested the boost sensor signal, it was only getting 2.5 volts. Disconnected an electric fan PO had in, just direct wired to fuse, and started getting correct voltage. Was connected to middle 10 amp fuse at very front of fuse block in engine bay. Everything is off light wise and gauge is working again and car is running great! Just picked up fan controller with probe to install on its own write fused to battery.
