After reading a few things, and cross refrencing numbers and part numbers.

I have concluded that rb26det internals can be used a rb20 block, is this true?

If it is, Ide like to use rb26det pistons and rings, on my rods. or use rb26det rods and pistons on my crank. If thats possible.

Can they interchange like that???

I'm sure you could use the pistons if you get the block resleeved. But If you don't forget about it. Rods an crank yes Pistons no.

you'll need the rb26 crank too else the rod journals will have nothing to ride on as they are substantialy wider than the std rb20.

If the internet is to be beleived a horse pen15 will fit in a chicks butt. The block would never handle 8mm of overbore. You can use the crank and rods though and 4AGZE pistons. I beleive you need a custom wristpin though to mate the Toyota piston to the Nissan rod.

sorry to thread jack but ....... would there be any noticable benefit from using the rb26 rods and crank in the 20 or are they just capable of handling more power? .........spooky mountain top castle ,lol

http://www.skylinesaustralia.c...+rods pic of RB20 rod next to a RB26.

The reason is to gain displacement. it will go from 2.0 to 2.4 with crank rods and 4agze pistons.
