Of course the guy at the shop is going to tell you to get 20" wheels, it'll cost more for you and he gets more profit! :poke:

Do not buy bigger than 19" wheels. When I had murano 20" wheels the ride was extremely rough. I would never go again more than 1" bigger than oem wheels. In this case new Rogue has an option of 18" instead 17" so you can get 19". One day I hit a good bump and I thought the car will fall apart. The problem is you will not be able to fit the same size as original murano tires so low profile will make it hard to drive.

Here is my post when I got my Enkei wheels last year: post5593088.html?hilit=18%20enkei%20imola#p5593088

I think you can go with 18 to 20 inch being the limit for comfort. It would depend on the weight of wheel as well. TSW has a new Interlagos which is rotary forged 20 x 8.5 at $325 (U.S.) per and 23 lbs. Tires might cost 40% more between 18 and 20 though.

My Enkei's cost me $1800 on the road in Toronto. This is about 25% off full retail price. I am probably going to lower the car with the H&R springs at some point. I have had lowered cars before and I think it would make a huge difference in the Rogue.

I just went car shopping for the Infiniti EX, Audi Q5, and Bmw X1. But they only offered me $15,000 for my 1.5 year old car that has cost me over $30,000 (with mods). So...more mods for me!! First up: Viper 5901 and SMD lowbeams. Why don't you list some wheels you have in mind?

I was thinking about getting after market wheels. Tirerack recommended I buy TPMS sensors for $440. Is it cheaper at the dealer? Also, what happens if I just don't put the sensors in? I only plan on using the rims for the summer time.

Unless you have specific State laws that address this (and I doubt it because not all vehicles come with TPMS, it's just an option), you are not required to purchase these or keep them in working order - this system does not affect any critical systems such as ABS, traction control etc.. Many Rogue owners in cold winter areas such as where I live run with winter tires for half of the year, and rather than bothering with TPMS sensors they just ignore the warning light or place a small piece of tape over the light, as our moderator Philipa240SX does and traction control and ABS function just fine.

In my personal opionin, the TPMS is ok and "nice to have" provided all of your sensors are functioning properly and you aren't wanting to swap rims. But once you have a sensor go bad or want to add new rims, the $400 plus price tag to purchase 4 little sensors is absolutely ridiculous, if Nissan can't make this system affordable then I see no value in it. When my sensors start to fail, and they will fail, the batteries are only project to last 7 years I believe, I won't be replacing mine as they really don't give me much benefit and the price is outrageous.

What do you guys think about OEM wheels that are reconditioned? I see them on line for less than half of what the dealers are asking. Are they safe? I had the wheels on my Altima painted and had some curb marks fixed and they looked ok. It is just that I knew that my wife hit a curb and it was just cosmetic.

Dude, there are plenty of people on here that have modified their rogues, you clearly have not done your research. Anyways, maybe try searching wheels or rims and just surf through the entire forum.

I myself have modified my Rogue pretty extensively

How's your roads in a city? If they're in good shape than you can easily go with 19". carid also sells replica wheels like from mustang or escalade etc. Here's an examples that will fit perfectly to you car. Also let's say you buy 19" then you decide it's too much for your rogue so you can sell them at any time. A lot of people interested in nice wheels so shouldn't be a problem to resell them. Just look at these replica wheels from benz that you could install with 114.3 pattern and for decent price...uhh? http://www.carid.com/wheel-replicas-whe ... 92886.html
P.S. We'll look for wheels but you have to do some research as well and decide what exactly you want. Stiff cool ride, performance or wheels on a budget?

OH AWESOME thanks ... im in miami so people ride around in 24 and 26 inch wheels no problem
im not crazy yet. I just wand a porshe cayann turbo look to the truck. A look in silver no chrome or bling. Basically imagine a rogue came from factory with a performance package.

I know im weird but i believe you can make a car look awesome without all the bling .Ill check it out thanks for the link
