after market SEAT INSTALL help!!!

ok after market seats are a bitc*h ...i cut the cross support on the passenger side and used angle iron i got the passenger side in solid....but the drivers side is a different story im looking for someone whos installed or someone who knows a good way to install drivers side seat....cause the drivers side has the bump for the cat....im thinking just cut the bump out...and run a custom straight pipe...appreciate the help
