Forgive me if this has been asked a thousand times. I searched and could not find alot of info.

I have a 2006 M35 with the PA-Inf installed for IPOD integration.

I am looking to replace my radio with a newer touch screen radio as for whatever reason, I have to disconnect and reconnect the IPOD several times throughout the day in order to get it to play. Its almost like if I start changing music to fast from a playlist to an album, it resets itself. Really Weird.

Wondering if anyone has had any success with an aftermarket radio, searching for wireharness and dash kit turned up nothing.

I'm open to all ideas. if their is a better product for IPOD integration i'm ok with trying that as well.

Thanks for all responses.

I don't know the exact answer to this but I went to a shop around me (LI, NY) and they quoted me at a multi-thousand dollar figure to redo the head unit because it's all built in with the climate control stuff and a lot of custom fabrication is involved.

I know this topic has been discussed before and I've searched and searched. Just curious if we have any new info surrounding swapping out the current factory radio for an aftermarket touch screen double din radio.

Thanks for all responses.

Dunno how well you've "searched and searched", but it appears you've not only forgotten about your thread on this topic from last year (now merged), but for some reason it didn't come up in your search.

Thanks for the response. I forgot about my post last year. I will just continue to search and read about this process.
