Question is if anyone has bought the katzkin leather upgrade for their
rogue ?

Also would love to see any pics of the change

and also would like to know if anyone has upgraded the muffler to something more spoty or sexxy

The search function on the RH sidebar is very useful when looking for answers to questions like this =>

Here are a few posts regarding aftermarket leather:

post5347489.html

This one has photos of a Classic Soft Trim (a.k.a. Roadwire) or Katzkin Leather interior. I'm not sure which.

Quality products properly installed by trained technicians will make all the difference. Adding leather seat covers is not a DIY job!

Re. Aftermarket Mufflers:

There is no aftermarket muffler kit for the Rogue. It would have to be custom fabricated. So far, none of our members have tried it. I would suggest looking to see what the Sentra SE-R and Altima 2.5 owners have done. One of the bigger issues with a Rogue exhaust is the sideways mounted muffler... it really limits your muffler selection.

Another simpler mod is to swap the Rogue KROM edition rear bumper with center exhaust like Native2PS did:

Gives you all the all the look using OEM pieces, but drives/sounds like a normal Rogue.

Haven't seen one yet. It would be easy enough to do though and would make your Rogue look distinctive.

For the muffler and exhaust tip I have found someone actually did it. It looks pretty awesome but according to the installation work it would cost around $1000 USD. I might upgrade mine if I have the money and the budget since it definitely gives a positive look from behind.

Properly setup, the QR25DE motor can have a deep throaty exhaust:

Do it wrong and it sounds like a tin can.

IMHO, the setup pictured is very nice... If I were to do it, I would go exactly the same route:

- mandrel bent S/S piping, starting from the cat
- large S/S resonator installed in the OEM location
- twin exit S/S muffler

Definitely worth the $1000. :dblthumb:

I know this is a really old topic, but I'm picking up a 2011 SL on Saturday, and I really want to go with a dual exhaust out the back. I really liked the look of the Krom, but I wanted all the bells and whistles of the SL. Is this work I could have any muffler shop do? I think I'd rather go with the regular dual exhaust look as compared to getting a Krom bumper and exhaust setup...

What do you want?

Dual (side by side) tips to replace the stock single one? That might be a pretty simple DIY, but it may involve cutting the bumper.

Dual left and right like the Murano?

That's going to involve cutting the bumper as well as some custom piping. Ideally you'd replace the muffler with a dual exit version. BTW, there is no OEM or aftermarket bumper for the Rogue with dual exhaust like the Murano... at least not one I have seen.

I'm definitely looking for the a dual right and left like the Murano. I drive my wife nuts because I have like OCD when it comes to symmetry, and single exhausts with notched out fascias drive me crazy. If you want to have a single exhaust, it should be as incognito as possible, IMHO. But again, I just like things to be even. So I'd have to get a dual exit muffler, and have them fab a tailpipe.... Still sounds a lot easier than doing the conversion to the Krom style rear fascia....

Hmmm, someone should come out with a retrofit kit. Maybe some nice CF or painted trim pieces to fit around the bumper notches to give it the Murano look?

Anyway, the second exhaust tip could either be a dummy pipe or you could get fancy and 'Y' it off the driver's side exhaust outlet. Replacing the muffler would be the other option, but it would all have to be custom fabbed.

Good deal. Thanks for the info. I'm going to go to an exhaust place and see what they can do for me. I don't want a dummy pipe, if its cold out I'd like to see exhaust coming from both of them...lol.

Here's an idea to improve the look of twin pipes on a cold day.
