I included this in my other post. But it wasnt answered,so installed a dvd player in dash, worked great with bose speakers in back, upgraded to 6/5's in front doors, sounded good as long as levels were down on bass.Well after reconecting battery, I forgot to turn down bass on head unit and radio cut off.looked at fuse seems ok havent pulled unit out to look at back fuses so anyone ever had this happen to them? Not running factory amps, and ran all new speaker wire to speakers.just so full of luck here...

Its most probably blown the fuse that sits in the back of the headunit (or within the first couple of inches of the power wire)

Also are you sure you have the positive and negative around the correct way on ALL 4 of the speakers?, its a bit odd that you need to actually turn down the bass for it to work properly.

If i have bass turned up the speakers in back will distort. So I usually have it set for more sound to front speakers maybe60-40,but when I had to reconect battery it went back to default heavy or powerfull setting.Good speakers actually can make trunk vibrate. But their different ohms than aftermarket speakers right?Left paperwork in Texas so not sure what pioneer says about bose.

You're going to kill your head unit or it may already be damaged. I had a DVD head unit connected to Bose amps/speakers in my Cadillac (same impedance) and slowly killed the HU until it wouldn't turn on anymore.

Get new speakers and dump the Bose.
