Do you use cheap condoms when doing the dirty too?

Whatever, not my car. When it blows up over a cheapy 90 dollar part (which is funny, as a nismo FPR is the same price, and isn't shat) don't come crying online. Trust me, if that thing goes lean by chance, you'll never pull out of it in time....

PLEASE, for the sake of yourself and your car, take the time to just put it for sale....

wzntha wrote:can anyone explain why the fpr should be set to 43.5 psi?
With the vacuum off, 43.5 would be exaclt 3 bar, which is what our EFI (and the majority) is set to run off when WOT. By pulling the vacuum line off, your are simulating WOT.
wzntha wrote:also, what should it be set at so that you can run slightly rich?
Why would you want that? 43.5 Is fine. If worried, set it at 47ish?
wzntha wrote:im planning on getting the nismo type-a fpr. does it come with a gauge like the megan one? or do you need a separate gauge?
Does nto come with gauge. You will need to purchase an inline gauge piece.

Setting the FPR slightly higher to gain an enrichment scenario is the wrong way to add fuel to your mixture. If you want to blow your motor up, do it. If you want to make reliable power, please for the love of god, buy injectors.

A slight increase in FPR will richen it up across the board. Great for stockish cars that run long enduros and the sort, where the extra fuel can help keep it cooler in the c/c.

Problem is that I've seen too many motors blown up by people trying to substitute increased fuel pressure for proper fuel management.

Oh for sure! I guess I need to stop assuming people don't always have rom tunes or the sort (my bad!)
