Anybody out there that can recommend an after market alarm system?I'm thinking about Viper. Have any of you had conflicts with the main module security system that comes with the Murano after installing a new alarm system?

Appreciate your responses.

I was looking into doing the same thing to my Murano. Realistically your main question is not so much with the alarm/remote starter but more so with the tech that's installing it. I spoke with 3 different dealerships service managers about the prospect and the answer came up the same. If the guy installing knows what he's doing and has worked specifically with the Murano before, regardless of key type, it'll be fine. If not, or the tech is so so, you'll have problems galore in your electrical systems from the bypass that needs to go in if you have an inteli key. I was mostly looking into clifford which I'm not sure if it's the parent company to viper or the other way around.

Hope that helps

We got a viper remote start keyless put in our 05. It was $209 and the module that allows it to start without the inti key was an additional $79. I was out just a little over $300 and that included instalation. Got it all done at best buy. So far I love it.
