After sanding down the wheels and priming them I discovered this.

My question is can I take it to a welding shop and get it fixed? Also if I just leave it and mount tires will it crack further? Thanks

Btw i posted in the wheels and tires section, no help at all so her we go my fellow 240 owners.

OH damn, it will definitely crack further, and i dont believe that would hold air for very long either. You may be able to get it repaired but usually once a wheel is stressed to the point of cracking its never the same.

Damn that doesn't look good! I wouldn't try mounting tires on that. You can try to weld that together and see what happens but I would get a new wheel.

I tried getting a wheel welded that was cracked just like that. It ended up bubbling out every tire that I installed on it. Never really held air again and from the constant inflating, and deflating, it ruined the tire. Get a new wheel.

what wheels are those? honestely it may not even be worth welding if you can get a replacement fairly cheap

Not a welding shop. Take it to a wheel repair place. What they will do is drill out the end of the crack, grind down the cracked section then fill in the material and grind to match and check wheel balance.
