I broke a rocker arm and had to get my head redone. It's back on the car and everything is reconnected. The car starts but doesn't want to idle well then once it's warmed up it won't start again. Any ideas? I'm thinking my cam timing is off a tooth. It runs so/so when it's cold. It's idle is almost perfect but when you give it gas it's very sluggish.

compression test it. another thing, if your cam is off a tooth, might want to check it and make sure. pop the top, and roate the crank around till everything's lined up. If one of the cams are off, you can see it as you turn the crank. There'll be two links that will line up eventually, if they never line up, you've got chain issues.

I'm thinking it's off a tooth at the bottom. The top marks are lined up but i'm thinking the bottom one isn't quite right. The compression should be fine. There is no reason for compression loss. It was running fine before i broke the head. I didn't take the lower timing cover/crank pulley off.

Cam timing was off by a link at the bottom. It's running fine now.
