Hello everyone I have 2001 Nissan pathfinder 3.3 engine. Yesterday I cleaned throttle by curb cleaner successfully but after installing everything I started the engine I noticed that I have idle problems and when I drove the car and accelerate the maximum rpm reached it 2000 rpm and it cut off. I think the PCM need to be reflushed (reset) but I don't know how to do it??!! Any help to solve my problem??
Please clarify which engine and model year vehicle you have, and provide the manufacturing date of your vehicle that's on the driver door jamb sticker. 2001 Pathfinders did not come with VG33E engines as you claim you have.

to NICO!
The 2000 RPM ceiling sounds like you're in a failsafe mode. Probably something that wasn't reconnected. Is the MIL (check engine light) on? If so, a code would help us.

I can't look up your VIN, are you sure it's correct? And yes, if the "SERVICE ENGINE SOON" light is lit, please get codes pulled at any auto parts store and post them here, most will do it for free.
