last night i did a burnout and right afterward the car started running like total crap, when giving barely any throttle it runs fine , it revs and idles pretty much normal too. when giving it anything over barely any throttle , once boost comes on it sputters misfires loudly, i can feel it through the gas pedal. today i changed the plugs and that didnt do anything. (the old plugs were really loose, would that normally affect performance?)2 days ago i put in a walbro fuel pump, i rechecked my installation today and everything looked fine.

thanks alotsean

Did an IC coupling come loose? I would check that first and then move on.

it sounds like air flow meter ,but you say it happens right when the turbo kicks in? maybe something happen to the turbo when you were pushing it.

The first post was probably correct. Recheck the intercooler piping to see if it came loose or developed a hole in it. You might also check the wastegate to see if for some reason it is holding boost off.

Sounds like a boost leak to me as well. Mine would do the same thing when I had leaks (i actually had the coupling blow right off of the TB, twice...live and learn)
