After a handsfree call in my '08 M35X the indash display goes to the map. Why?

Its kind of annoying but after every phonecall using the built-in bluetooth my in dash display always takes me to the map screen. It sucks because I almost never use the map. It would be nice if when the call was completed the unit displayed the last screen/function you were on. Anyone have a workaround for this?

I feel your pain, its so annoying./ I have no clue as to why it defaults to the map...there are similar issues when using the music box...the problems with the interface is minute but still very very annoying. I've learned to deal with it but I still can’t get over why most of the features are locked out while driving. I just don’t understand why Infiniti would provide all these great features but then not allow you to use it when its needed, like when you are driving...not pulled over on the road. They should at least allow full functionality with voice commands..... its a great car otherwise and I cant complain too much because its still better than the BMW and M-Benz systems but it’s not better than Audi's interface, its well thought out and the best I've seen so far.
