i'm guessing a monitor is the same as a drive cycle. if so, you can put some stop and go miles, interstate miles, and short distance miles on your car in the next few days and it should be ok.

I think mine took about 5 days of daily driving back and forth to work to reset my monitors. When I told the guy at Auto Zone to clear the code I had, it made the SES light go out but it also cleared all the codes for the emission test so I failed the first time too. Just drive it around a few days and it should be good to go. BTW did you ever get the instructions on do-it-yourself EGR tube cleaning? I saw one post where someone was asking that but am not following up on a daily basis.

you need to put some mo miles on it bro. don't let auto parts employees clear your lights. have them come out to hook the code scanner up get to where it needs to be, then you have to push the button to actually clear the light. if we do it and get caught, we pay hefty fines and could lose our job.
