What's up guys, I just installed some eibach springs and cambers to my 2008 m35 and realized the other day my afs system wasn't working properly. So I went ahead and popped the hood and heard a distinct sound coming from the head light and noticed the afs going nuts (like trying to adjust but dosent). My question is does this have to be adjusted after lowering the car or does it adjust automatically? And if they do need adjustment where do I adjust or who can? Please help me it's driving me nuts!!! And seems like people just do basic plug and play work now days and don't know s***. Thanks

Yeah the afs is bad....my car does it as well. You can adjust manually but the dealer did mine. They wanted 1400 per headlight.

You can always flip the AFS system off until you get it fixed (if ever)

When the dealer adjusted the afs manually did that fix the problem?

Bad AFS system doesn't get adjusted by the dealer... Hoping you still have factory warranty or Infiniti elite extended warranty, go to the dealer and get you a new headlight!!! The AFS motor on our lights tend to go out and the dealerships know this!! If you are out of warranty and just don't care about AFS (or don't want to spend $1400/headlight) just turn the switch off!! I had my passenger light replaced under warranty as did many other members on here... :bigthumb:

Thanks a lot for the info. Greatly appreciated. Unfortunately my warranty just expired a couple of months ago and like everything once it's up something tends to malfunction. I guess it could be worse but thanks for the help.

No problem!! :bigthumb:

Again, the AFS is not needed it's just a nice additional feature so you decide what you want to spend your $$ on :gotme

Not sure if its worth a shot or not, maybe you can call Courtney in Scottsdale to see if you can still get an elite warranty package since it only expired a couple of months ago. I think you just have to get it inspected again? Not sure if its worth it or not, but doesnt hurt to ask

Trying to buy a warranty after you know there is a major fix is pretty unethical.
