AFS issue, working but making weird noise.

Hey guys, I was sitting at a red light and I just so happened to not have the radio on and I heard a weird noise coming from the front of my M. It sounds like a automatic adjustment of something that is stuck. Kinda like a robot moving it's arms. When I got home I listened closer and found the noise was coming from the drivers side headlight. The light seems to be working properly turning as they are supposed too but, I'm still hearing weird noise. Anyone had this issue? I'm trying to have more knowledge about this issue before going to the stealership. I have the extended warranty so it should be covered. Thanks in advance for advice.

Your headlight AFS motor is out or about to go out!! And, yes it should be covered! Had my passenger light replaced at about 55k miles...

Same here, my drivers side light started making servo type sounds. Motor was starting to go...dealer replaced under warrenty. Yeaaaa
