Right so this isnt for my vh45 but i am woundering if the 45 and 41 afms are the same? Ive just finished doing a supercharger sr20de in my mates s14 and we are using a apexi powerfc and it has an option under airflow meter for a vh41 afm but i have a vh45 afm spare so was woundering if we can use that. The numbers on my afm are 22680 61U00 A36-000 p60 and its a yellow sticker, even if someone can check the numbers against whats on their 41 afm.Cheers Mike.

Different!

The one you have was used on the Q's from 97-01 and is slightly smaller as I recall.

I strongly suspect the VH41 in the States has a smaller MAF but the VH41 sold in Japan is different so it might have the same MAF as the VH45. Mettler is the one who has that answer, since he is the evangelist for the VH41 gospel. LOL.

Honeslty I bet the JDM VH41 has the VH45 MAF.

The US VH41's are almost so different that they shouldnt carry the VH name plate.

lol amen brother!

Yer I suspect you guys are right. My AFM's a yellow label one with big 80-90mm I.D. and I can't see any difference between mine and the pics I've seen of VH45 AFMs.

Could you look and grab the part numbers off it?

I don't have them handy, but I was looking at some new MAF's online and I'm 95% sure they were different part numbers between the two generations.

Remember we're comparing VH45 to JDM VH41, big difference between US VH41!

Sweet thanks gents, we have 3 different afm options so we should be ok and if it gets to the piont of needing the vh45 one then it must be making HUGE amounts of power (we're hoping for around 150rwkws @ about 6-7psi, so the vh would be overkill ).
