I'm currently building a 1990 240sx with a rb26. I'm using a Apexi Power FC as a standalone. Would I still need to get a Z32 AFM for my setup? I was told some cars dont need a AFM when they go with a standalone. I'm looking at pushing at least 600-700rwhp with my setup.

I thihk it matters if you got the older type power fc or the newer one. I have been told that if its the newer version the mafs can be removed. But I am not the expert on this. I have a power fc on the way for my setup but I also have the z mafs sitting here if I need it. I think VRTgrumpy knows for sure. Ask him or maybe he will see this and post.

The new PFC can run off of a MAP sensor...
