Affordable Rogue Mods

Hey there,

As a young driver of a 2010 Nissan Rogue SL, what mods are out there that are affordable yet produce good looking results?

Some ideas that I've seen:

-Chrome for outside pillars and trim (where and $$?)
-Same chrome thing except for interior around the shifter and entertainment console
-Nerf Bars
-Bull Bar
-LED interior lights

Have I missed any other ideas? I'm hoping to major in mechanical engineering one day, so hopefully my technical skills will be much improved, but can you put lights under the wheel wells? Also, if I were to attach additional lights to the front, how would one go about hooking up the electrical? Can you utilize the switches near the VDC button near the steering wheel? Thanks for any insights. Unfortunately I need to make some money before I go about investing in my Rogue, as well as repair my bumper after I sadly dented it with another car.

Your first resource should be the Glossary of threads, there are 30+ threads under the "Accessories and Mods" section that may interest you and they're well titled so you can pick and choose the topics that interest you. Many of them come complete with How-To descriptions and step-by-step photos so I think you'll find this very useful and most if not all of your questions should be answered.

Also the "search" function is very useful and should be used prior to creating a new thread, because chances are your topic already exists and we need to avoid duplication.

So far I have seen mostly negative reactions from the Chrome trim modofoers. You have to make sure you get them with warrenty. Nerf bar is a definite good mod. I personally don't like the bull bar. In my opinion, Rogue is more Stylish Crossover then a rugged one. HID headlights are a good mod. Mesh guard mod is a real cheap and effective one also...and like Kerrton said...you will find a lots of them at FAQ section.. Good luck...
