ok i just swapped my s13 with a reptop. started the car and it ran really rich and it loped pretty bad. so i installed nismo FPR, walbro 255, and i checked for vacuum leaks(none) repleaced the coolant temp sensor as well.

basically took care of everything that could make it run rich only to find out that it was a bad MAF. since i didnt have an extra Sr maf layina round i figured why not upgrade? bought a z32 and a brand spankin new apexi super suction kit(80mm maf version) and i bought a SAFC neo.

installed the maf and afc NEO accordingly.

in 2 and 6 out...4 cylinder throttle in the upright postion..yadda yadda yadda.

crank the car up and it idled perfect at 2 grand for about ten seconds and fell flat on its face. then it wouldn start it would just crank.

so checked the following fuel pressure..40 psi...spark..got it...pwer to the ecu..got it...afc power...got it.

so im clueless. but...heres where the question comes in. after i went throught the setup of the NEO i was told to initialize it? right or wrong?

because after i would initialize it i would go back to check the settings and they were ALL messed up....6 cylinder and **.....1 in and 1 out for the hotwire settings. im confused. someone help me

DO NOT INITIALIZE after you enter your settings...that basically resets everything.

2 in 6 out like you had. Make sure the maf count is 1 to 1 and dont intialize settings. Also check to make sure the MAF has a good connection.

well i hooked up the sensor according to a website. i had a brand new apexi z32 harness that came with my super suction kit. ill post pics of the connections tomorrow. and i dont really think i fried the ecu because the light is still on inside and the error codes will still flash out but its throwing 55 means no code
