The Sat radio kit was very easy to install, I purchased mine from Joe at everythinginfiniti.com - it as painless, i still however paid someone to do it as I will not fuss with it; The -bus connector was in the trunk, under the right hand side rear deck area, tied up in a very tight little ball; there is a place thats perfect for the sat receiver to snap into it, power and antenna and nbus all fit super easy, kit includes hard to read directions, but the job doesn't really require directions for the modestly skilled car guy.
The antenna install i put in the rear truck deck; the directions call for it on the center of the rear window, along the top, and running it along the weather strip. I thought I was going to change out that with a 'shark fin' one, so its been on my trunk for 2 years now;
There is some older posts back in early 2007 if I recall that maybe give more detail to this process;
good luck with it;
p.s. power up of the sat module was literally turning on the car, and activating the service. use the radio button, until sat radio is selected;
