Hey guys, probably a long shot, but figured I'd ask:

All of the Infiniti parts websites list the aero front bumper as one part number. Does anyone know the part number(s) for the individual pieces? In other words, if I wanted to get a replacement fog light bezel, what part number is that? Or a replacement bumper grille etc. I can't seem to find that info anywhere.

Thanks in advance.

W/Sport Pkg. Infiniti factory part number 62022-1MJ0H.
M Sedan Front Aero Bumper. Infiniti part number K6020-M (I think!)

Thanks Smoov.

The numbers you've provided are for the bumpers themselves. I specifically am looking for the part number for the fog light bezels as well as the plastic trim that attaches to the edges of the aero bumper. I'm looking to replace those parts without having to get an entire bumper.

I was able to locate the parts I had from when I replaced my front Aero bumper cover.

Here are the part #s for the fog light bezels:
Image

I found both part #s on on infinitipartsusa, for $16.06 each:
Left fog light bezel: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Infinit ... 1ma2a-.htm
Right fog light bezel: http://www.infinitipartsusa.com/Infinit ... 1ma2a-.htm

Unfortunately, the wheel well extension plates have no part # on them; they are just marked "NISSAN" and "LH" and "RH":

If you need me to look at any other parts like the lower grille inserts, I would be happy to do that. :dblthumb:

Many thanks once again.

The interesting thing is that when you do a parts search using those numbers, the site indicates that these are the bezels for the non-sport bumper...those were the ones you ordered and they fit your aero bumper?

I found that interesting also. I ordered the front Aero bumper complete, as mine was curbed when I bought the car. The pictured boxes were as they came in the kit.

It does make sense from a manufacturing standpoint that they would be able to use existing inventory straight from the parts bin. On my previously owned 2006 M45, Sentra fog lights were a direct replacement for a broken "Infiniti" housing.

I hear and agree with the notion that parts would be interchangeable and used across various platforms, why Infiniti didn't just stick to one set of bezels for each of the 3 bumpers is beyond me. I'll go ahead and order the set. Hopefully there are in fact the right ones. Given they're the ones that worked for you, all indicators are that they should in fact be.

Update: The part numbers you provided were right on the money :dblthumb: . I ordered and picked up the fog bezels today from my local Infiniti dealership who just so happened to have them in stock.

In looking at the second, I'm not sure that's the part I was referring to. The piece(s) I'm looking for as the ones that attach to each corner of the Aero bumper. See the picture below for the piece I'm referring to.

I am happy to hear it worked out with the fog light bezels. :bigthumb:

Regarding the second pic: I think you are correct; we are talking about two different pieces. If I am looking at your pic correctly, it is an Aero bumper removed from the car, and the cylindrical object is the fog light? If so, the piece you reference is parallel with the ground, so it would be under the car, right?

The pieces I pictured go in the wheel well, and fill in the gap between the wheel well liner, and the Aero bumper; parallel to the wheel and perpendicular to the ground.

You are correct. It is in fact the piece under the fog light, parallel to the ground, and sits under the car.

So I checked through other parts that I had, and there was nothing that was for the lower cover. I am wondering if they might still be on my old bumper cover, which is at the shop that performed the work, possibly.

If they are and you'd like to sell me them, I'd be more than willing to purchase them from you. At a minimum I need the driver's side. My intention was to just replace both had I been able to locate a part number but the reality is I really just need the driver's side. Either way let me know.

Sounds good.

I now see what you were referring to with the wheel well extension plates. If you happen to have a set of those laying around, I would be interested in those are well.

No problem!

My bumper is in the shop being repainted and getting the license plate holes filled in. I only ask as I hope to have those parts in sooner than later (provided you have them).

So Don: I went down to the shop tonight, and located my old Aero bumper cover. The only thing there was the shell itself; no parts attached to it. I wanted to talk to the installer, although he had gone home for the night. Even so, would he remember a car he worked on over a year and a half ago? Depends, I guess...

I got to looking at another thread on here: aero-bumper-install-on-m37x-t574057.html

From looking at pictures in this thread, I am not sure or not whether the pieces you indicated are Aero specific? The only mention I see is of "brackets" to be transferred over; and it appears as though the "pan" is intact in the pics with the bumper cover off.

Your thoughts?

Thanks for the update.

I too took a look at the thread you referenced which made me realize I still need the wheel well extension pieces which you mentioned don't have a part number :picard:

It's hard to say based on the poster's pics as none show the bottom of the aero bumper. :tisk:

My thought was that since the gentleman that posted the Aero swap didn't show any extra parts for the bottom of the bumper, perhaps there isn't any needed? Also, I was very specific about getting any unused parts back when the shop swapped mine, and I didn't see anything like the part you are referring to in the box of parts I have. Then again, I could be totally wrong.

Is there a gap between where the Aero bolts to the belly pan that doesn't match up to your existing components?

Quick question -- how many different bumpers are available for the M37? Is there just the normal bumper, the sport bumper, and the aero bumper? If someone has a non-sport M37, is their only option for a bumper "upgrade" going to be the aero bumper?

The 2nd post in this thread list part numbers for the 3 bumper covers available for the M37/56. I believe you can upgrade from a non-sport to a sport bumper.

I follow your logic. In theory, based upon the gent's thread, the fender liners will likely bolt up. If anything my shop will have to fab up some pieces for the wheel extension pieces. I'll know more later this week when the car goes in to have the kit installed.

He did specifically mention the fender liner extensions, but not any parts on the belly pan. Hence, my line of thinking that no additional parts were needed there.

Got the aero kit installed yesterday evening, but given it was dark out I didn't really get to inspect the car. After doing so this morning, I can see that in addition to the wheel wheel extension pieces (as previously discussed),I do in fact need the piece around the driver's side of the edge of the bumper, as I originally suspected. I now have a gap there. :tisk:

I was in a rush to get the vehicle back so hopefully once it goes back to the shop they will be able to fab up pieces to cover the ones I'm missing...or my luck will change and I will somehow find the OEM pieces
