I currently have a 2009 hatch and bought one of the aem intakes. I emailed aem support and the guy says that they don't have an aem intake for 08 and up. He said that I shouldn't use the one for an 07 model (part number 21-550) cause he said that there might be sensor changes and computer programming changes. What do you guys think any changes? Also he says that they don't sell a by pass valve for that intake because of design and space restrictions?!?

K 2 things... if the people who MAKE it say you shouldn't use it, you probably shouldn't lol. Is it worth the risk to you? Because you gotta make that decision for yourself, not let anyone make it for you. And, the bypass valve... just measure your pipe and call whatever auto store that sells aftermarket parts around you (here in SoCal we have SuperAutoToyz) and ask them if they have an AEM bypass valve thats those measurements. If so, just go pick it up and bam :) !! I've got a Stillen CAI, but an AEM bypass valve on it.

Honestly your best bet is to email Bob at Versaspeed. He would know the answer.

And they are wrong about the '08 and up' because I just bought the AEM CAI from Bob, and installed it on my 08 Versa. It works perfectly fine ... :) And there have been no changes at all in sensors or whatever else they told you.

im sure all the intakes for the versa work for the years 07-10. because i installed an "07" fujita intake on a 2010 model. they are still the mr18de engine so you should be good.

they said that because they only tested it on an 07, and because they dont know anything about the V they dont know that the only thing nissan has changed is the 2010 grill (unless you have the base model of course). so to prtect themselves they wont tell you it WILL work without being 100% sure.

it will work, im 99.9% sure
