It was about $430. I looked at Stillen, but was not to impressed with the setup. From what I heard Fujita is good, but AEM has been around the market for a while.

According to AEM, the factory warranty will not be Voided.

I really like the new AEM but I went with the Stillen 'cause that's all that was available at the time. Not happy with just leaving things alone, I customized the Stillen by adding smooth aluminum tubes to replace the factory rubber ones. I bought a few pieces of 45 deg. alum. tubing, (2.75" dia., same as throttle body inlet and MAF adapter), and measured and cut several times to get the fit right.

I like the fact that with my setup the airflow is pretty straight, from the K&N filters to the throttle body with only 1 slight 40 deg. bend.

But in the end they all do the same thing.

Looks great. Aem is one of my top companies when I look for an intake.

I am new to the Forum, so first I would like to say Hello to everyone. I have a 2007 350Z Enthusiast and have been looking at CAI for it. Is STILLEN the only one that uses some sort of heat shield? If the AEM has them I couldn't tell in the pic, but then again I just got off 24hr shift and can't see straight anyway. I looked at the Dyno Chart of the Fujita and the Stillen and the Fujita said base hp 250;S and increased to 260's and the Stillen said 270's and increased to 280. I think I got the numbers right. Why the discrepency? Also wouldn't the AEM or the Fujita work better than the STILLEN since they replace the acordian factory tubing? I just don't understand why the STILLEN is so expensive and it doesn't replace the stock tubing?

exactly thats what i thought...your paying 400 dollars for a dam 6 inch tube to fit the MAS into it and a filter....wtf is up with that......thats why i trust AEM and ill probably go with that after i break my motor in all the way.......o and AEM does have the heat shields..

I have heard a lot of great stuff about Fujita, but not liking the lack of heatshield. If the AEM had the heatshield/box that the Stillen has I think that would be the perfect combination. Does anyone know if you can buy the modular intake tubes on their own? If you can then I would just buy the MIT's and replace the stock filters with AMSOIL filters. Whatever intake I do get I will be switching to AMSOIL nano filters as I believe they are the best filters on the market.

All of these systems are pretty much the same with very little hp gain. You wont feel the tiny hp gain in the seat of your pants but you will hear the aggressive sound difference when accellerating!!! Its all what LOOKS good to YOU plus you can clean the filters when desired instead of replacing them.
