Well, its taking longer then I thought. We have been really buried at work and I haven't been able to devote a ton of time to the PK 240 project. We have made great progress though. The AEM is completely wired up now and we have readings on the EMS for Cam, Crank, MAP, AIT, ECT, RPM, etc. Fuel pump works, reading inj PW, etc. We need to set up the rest of the parameters that allow the EMS to control everything now that it can see everything. It was very time consuming but it looks like we are just about to fire it up.

Tomorrow morning (Monday) we will straighten out the configuration of all the inputs / outputs and hopefully fire it up. Here is what my morning will probably consist of once the car is fired up:

Check for oil pressure, check for leaks, sync the timing, dial in idle, heat cycle the motor, check for electric fan operation, check for leaks again, dial in idle (again) dial in tip in, take it for a spin around the lot, check for leaks, let it cool down, work on cold start, dial in idle AGAIN, take it for a spin around the lot, strap it to the dyno, dial in drivability, check for leaks, do a nut bolt check, and then FINALLY make some boost.

Its actually pretty fun getting everything working when your starting out from scratch. It should make the day fly by.

Baring any serious complications, we should have some numbers to post tomorrow evening.

I am expecting the turbo setup to spool incredibly quick and will be pleased to see a significant amount of torque over horsepower.

you wouldn't happen to have a compressor map of the turbo you're using would you?
