On a stock SR20 running 10psi and still using the MAF AEM put down ~230rwhp and ~240rwtq, with significantly better curves than stock.

I'll know what an EMS can do with a GT25R and 740cc injectors whenever I can find the time to get my car driveable

Right now I've got it idling, but I still have a few things to fix before I can start moving it.

Sorry...no extra EMS, just the one I'm running. AEM does have a batch being released for sale very shortly though.

im sorry to be a hater, but there's some kind of bs there if he can only put 220-ish whp with a gt2540r at 12psi. the motor in my car can push 260whp at a bar with the stock turbo.

the lines don't look kosher either... and a 7whp increase at 1500rpms? i dont know..

who said this was a 30hp gain? all i see is about 12. i can do the same thing with an safcii.

The 220ish whp @ 12psi with a GT25R was with a JWT tune running at 10:1 (!!!!) a/f ratio. That's so rich I'm surprised the car was even driveable. With the AEM and a proper tune the car put down ~275rwhp@ 12psi.

Another thing to remember about the GT25R is it really doesn't start to shine until the 15-20psi range, once it gets into it's efficiency zone. Before that it makes power, but about 15psi is where it starts making serious/ridiculous power.

Quote »the lines don't look kosher either... and a 7whp increase at 1500rpms? i dont know.
have you ever done any real (meaning standalone, no SAFC) tuning? The gains you can see from properly altering timing (especially when compensating for larger injectors) can be staggering

Quote »who said this was a 30hp gain? all i see is about 12. i can do the same thing with an safcii.
look closely. there is a 30hp gain at certain spots on the HP curves.

Its not really the power increase that I like, its the overall improvement of your power curve. I have the same kind of dips in my powerband and it bugs the crap out of me, I cant wait to buy standalone.

I can attest to the 15-20 psi zone. The turbo is laggy as hell for a ball bearing turbo, but once it spools, 18 psi comes quickly.
