I am looking at the aem boost gauge/boost controller 2 in 1. I am just wondering when I install it, will it have any trouble because of obd I and II difference? or I can just install it as a regular car?

It will have no clue. For all it knows youre installing it in a A-Model ford.

All it does is hook up to Power and ground then vacuum lines.

Correct me if Im wrong but the aem does not show vacume. vacume #'s can tell you a lot about how your car is running.

I was planning on buying one and the wideband, but changed my mind after reading poor reviews (I did buy the wideband) It said it was kind of hard to set up. Aparently it doesnt display psi, instead reads duty cycle, or something strange and less intuitive. The review clearly said "you need a mechanicle boost gauge to dial it in first, after that it works fine"

for me personaly, I was looking to use it as a boost gauge, and that is the one thing it didnt do.

Every Electronic Boost controller is a gauge. AFAIK.

My HKS EVCIII shows vacuum in mmHg and boost in Bar.
