I'm looking for a wideband gauge to tune my KA-T and I'm down to either the Innovative LC-1 kit or the AEM 6in1 Uego gauge. I just wanted to see which one you guys think is better.

depends if you want datalogging or not.. i'm personally going for the AEM, $260 with 52mm gauge...I thought about the Innovative, but I would never use the datalogging.

id go with the aem..........it can datalog also and it comes with the gauge. now the lc-1 can be wired to a normal a/f gauge to display an accurate wideband reading but i read tons of issues with people having troubles with their software. go visit their forums over at innovative to see what people are running into with their lc-1's. im sure aem also has forums for their wideband so it wouldnt hurt to research em up too. if u've already done this tho, i personally would go with the aem........

also does anyone know if the aem has a narrom band signal i can wire so i can use the wideband as the regular o2 sensor for the ecu and for wideband on my emanage. i am 90% sure the lc-1 can so i figured the aem could as well.

go post up on the aem forums and you'll get a more accurate response quicker.

I'm confused about data logging(what does it do , how does it work). Does it mean ur ECU can read the data from ur wideband or what

datalogging is having something record your engine stats while your driving in real time, i believe the lc-1 has datalogging built into the control box, i will be using my emanage as a datalogger saving onto my laptop. i was just wondering if the aem had a narrow band output so i could slice it into my ecu and use my wideband as both so i dont have to weld a new bung to my exhaust.

straight from AEM's site...

"AEM's Wideband UEGO Controller is available in single- and dual-channel modes, and is the most affordable UEGO controller available. The AEM Wideband UEGO controller has a very low current draw, and features both 0-5v calibrated output and 0-1v calibrated output to mimic the factory narrow-band sensor, eliminating the chance of a factory computer issuing a trouble code.

Key Features:

Ideal for use with ANY aftermarket standalone engine managament system

Accurate to 0.1 AFR (Bosch UEGO conditioning)

Available in single- or dual-channel modes

Bosch sensor(s) included

**********0-5v calibrated output with 0-1v secondary output to eliminate trouble codes

Extruded enclosure features titanium anodizing for enhanced durability"

but its best to just keep your stock o2 and add another bung for the wb. the 1v output doesnt exactly mimic the stock o2's voltage, it's just a scaled down version of the widebands linear(ish) output.

from what i've heard, aem's wideband doesnt measure up to the competition. the price reflects it. they added a bunch of features and the price went down. hmmm. and no, it doesnt datalog. it has an output that can be datalogged, so does any other wb. if youre going to be doing any tuning you'll need to datalog. its virtually impossible to syncronize your vision to the tach, wb, and load simultinously
