Hi guys and gals,

I currently have an rb20det in my s13 and i have purchased parts that are in the closet ie t3/t4, luv fab mani, nismo f/p regulator, greddy profec b boost controller, tial 38mm wastegate tahts all for now because i am cosidering ordering an rb25 and dont want to waste money on more parts for rb20. So what do you guys think I should do in my situation?

What are your power goals? determine which one of the engines will get you there with the parts you have reliably. Sure the rb20 can get you there but you'll be pushing it harder than the rb25. I would get an auto rb25 swap with wire harness and use the rb20 mounts and 5 speed and those parts or even cheaper go with just the engine with a cut harness and rewire/repin it to the rb25 plugs and use the rb20 ecu with an emulator or chip with an rb25 map. With the rb20 ecu/wiring you will lose the vct.
