Ok, so I am upgrading my RB20DET to get a bit more power to the wheels..

I am looking at 350 whp daily driver, stock bottom end..

Deatsch Werks 550cc injectors (http://www.deatschwerks.com/catalog/pro ... cts_id=114) $369eBay top mount T3 turbo manifold externally wastegated (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayI ... MEWAX%3AIT) $150

Wastegate: ???

This is where the issue would come in..Turbo: ??? $500

Tune from Carl H: $150

Z32 Maf: Already have this

As of right now, I do NOT have the parts, so I can change anything around.. I am trying to keep this at or below $1200 ish

Can anyone recommend a turbo - new preferably - that would match my requirements, have good response, get my numbers etc and that would bolt up to my downpipe and turbo elbow?

If I were you, I would stay with the stock manifold.Weld a EWG flange on it and run any gate you want.

The turbo I would go with is either a HX/HY30 Holset or a T3/To4e 57 trim .63 a/r. Don't know much about Holsets, but there's tons of info around about them. The T3/T4 you could probably pick up brand new for $550 or better. (havent looked)

If you wanted to spend more $ for a better turbo GT30R or others....

No turbo you get will bolt to your stock RB20 Turbo outlet. Your going to have to have a Downpipe or Turbo outlet made custom.

I assume that you already have a FMIC and a 3" exhaust, a good clutch and did you regular maintainence.

2.5" exhaust, huge fmic, clutch replaced about... 4-6k miles ago...

Holsets wont bolt on, I was looking at the hx35, the housing is too big, which is why I was looking at the manifolds. And the other manifolds push the air in a different way which helps the turbo (bigger) spool quicker?

You need to do more homework HX35 will bolt on, you may need to run another t3 flange for a spacer.

Don't bother with those junkass ebay manifolds for 350hp.

+1

2.5" is fine, 3.0" is betterPower and response will come faster with 3

Ebay manifold suck.I have 2.But they are the stock style ones.fitment was not bad at all. (only 1 bolt hole out of line)For the price i paid I cant complain.

But the top mount ones need to be chopped up and braced etc.

They are larger diameter runners, but as for the design, they're all probably POOP.Don't waste your $$

Cheapest Place for a T3 flange would be Ebay.Just buy a regular steel flange.

Dunno SEARCH.There's a Holset thread in here somewhere.

Im going to have a guy build me a custom turbo... going with 650s I think from Deatschwerks... Since I want 350 at the wheels, thats about 400 at the crank right?

550s would be at 87% according to Carl in another thread, so 650s should better suit me?
