alright so im thinking about painting my brake claspers red (my car is red) is this to rice? i think it looks good considering i have disk brakes all around.. what do u all think?

not a darn thing wrong with painting calipers. it'll look good, go for it.

Not rice as long as they look good. I think it is a good detail and perhaps a glaring omission on an otherwise squared-away car.

not rice at all... I was going to paint mine Gloss Black.. but too much time involved with it and as of right now I don't have any time at all...

yeah well i had brake clasper paint so i painted it red.. looks really clean.. i like it :)

i saw a s30 before with neon green calipers. it was actually a nice looking car.

$130,000 german (porsche) cars have red calipers.So it can't be rice.

i dont think some cars look good with calipers painted the same color as the vehicle. some cars look good with another color that goes with the car, like if you have your engine done in a color, that same color. i have a blue emerald s14 and i painted my calipers bright yellow, i also have my engine done in bright yellow. it looks real good.

the caliper color should contrast in some fashion.Silver car red calipers, red car yellow calipers etc etc,

Worst thing in the world is a painted caliper that heats up and changes from shades of red....to pink. use good paint.

yea they sell brake caliper paint at auto zone and pepboys that can stand high temps and it sticks real good

whats wrong with pink calipers, id sprt them. would you ever admit to losing a race to a very fast car with pink one. youd be laughed at every time someone mentioned it
