I'm picking up my 2012 Black G37S sedan, 6MT next week. I'm going to need winter tires (I live in the northeast) and I'm considering putting the winter tires on the stock rims and getting a nice set of 20 inch rims for the other three seasons. Here's what I'm considering:

Blaque Diamond Spyders (http://www.blaquediamond.com/Wheel_Design_SPYDER.php), 20x8.5 Front with 45mm offset and 20x10 Rear with 38mm offset. The tires will Toyo Proxes T1Rs, 245/35 front and 275/30 rear. My question is will the offest size cause any problems with rubbing inside the wheel well? If so, what other offsets should I be looking at?

Also, is there a market for barely used stock G37 tires? If so, what would be a good asking price? They'll have less than 100 miles on them.

Thanks in advance.

I would go with a more aggressive offset in the front as the wheels will look sunk in. With spacers I'm running 28mm offset front and 30mm offset rear on the stock 19" wheels which comes out pretty flush:

Just picked up the car today - very happy to be driving a manual again.

Thanks for your quick reply. I apologize in advance for asking what I'm sure is a dumb question, but could you explain why a lower offset is considered, "more aggressive"? I thought the higher the offset, the more the wheels stuck out. If I lower the offset, won't the wheels be less flush with the body and thus look less aggressive? Or is it that by lowering the offset I'll have better handling of the car and therefore the handling will be more aggressive? Sorry for asking what I'm sure is an obvious question. Nice ride by the way - it looks like you lowered the suspension a bit.

Thanks for your input. Why not go past 19 inches? The 18s look lost in the wells and 19s are (for some unknown reason) more expensive.

Read the section of offsets. Offsets are either positive or negative and the numbers mean different things with each one.
