Post

As much as it pains me, I am having to part with my '93 240SX Convertible since I'm moving back to Chicago. I'm looking for advice on how much work I should put into the car before I put it out for sale. It's in good condition but it has some paint chipping in the front around the license plate and some minor scratches. Also the felt on the driver side visor is wearing off. Should I have the paint touched up and fix the felt? Or will someone who knows the value of this great little car want to do it their way-- and probably better?

The car has 117K miles on it and is mechanically perfect per my mechanic -- just cosmetic issues really.

Also, is there a good spot to post it for sale? I want it to be purchased by someone who wants a 240SX and not just a used car!

Any advice greatly appreciated!
Michelle

hard to say, car market is in shambles right now. people are broke, and therefore people selling want more money, and people buying want to pay least possible. i would suggest maybe craiglist, get some pics of good and bad. I am sure you have a price in your head thats your lowest, there fore i would sell it for more than that but be negotiable so you might be able to at least reach that goal
