'92 vert with the RB20DET swap, still manual-awaiting driveshaft, aftermarket intercooler, stock radiator. She runs hot! From what I've seen there is no specific radiator for the RB20, but a buddy recommends I get the KOYO radiator for the KA24, after market hoses, dual fans and a cooling plate and that would solve it.Also the thermostat is new so I don't believe it's that, but looking to upgrade radiator anyway. Also noticed that websites selling radiators split them between manual and auto. Can I put a new radiator in before I get the transmission swap done?Appreciate any advice.

Rb's are notorious for running on the hot side.

I went with a Koyo(ka24de model) and dual Flex-a-Lite fans and haven't had a problem since, even in traffic when it is 115degrees outside.

Not sure on the auto/manual radiator differences, but if memory serves me correct the auto radiator has a small inlet/outlet for a transmission cooler. Not 100% positive though, so I'll let someone else chime in on that.

Other than that, I would just flush the coolant system well and replace the hoses.

Automatic radiator has 2 extra bungs at the bottom for the transmission cooler.
