Kiinda dumb question but I want to make sure.... when I bought the car someone had disconected the AC unit but left it on the car. The belt is currently still there.... DO I NEED THIS BELT? Can I take it off like some cars and have the KA run okay? Any advice... thanks!

well if you don't plan on ever using ac, just remove all the lines all the way to the firewall then stop.might as well remove the condenser too. That the thing in front of the radiator. well it looks just like a radiator but its not its for the ac.

I'm just asking about removing the belt and possible the ac unit itself. It currently is not hooked up as the wire is cut so the belt is just spinning for nothing. Just wondering if removing it would hurt anything.... My pignose just got new belts all around! lol
