Advice Needed on 2005 G35

Hi Guys. New to the forum and have a question about a purchase i'm about to make.

I'm looking at an 05 G35 Sedan w/34,500 miles on it. Getting it from the dealer where it was originally leased and where it has been serviced. Dealer says it has all the records and everything is up to date and current.

I think the deal is fair at $22,900 (does not have any of the premium packages, but does have sunroof).

My question is regarding an extended warranty. Should i get this? What should i expect to pay? I hope to keep the car another 4 years and over 100k miles by the time i'm finished. I drive alot for work.

I think that's a little too much $$$.I see one here with 28K miles for ASKING price of $21,500. However, don't know the history. KBB says that's the Private Party price, so based on that if it's in super shape might not be a bad price. See if they will throw in an extended warranty, otherwise I wouldn't pay for it. They are great cars!Good Luck!!!!

I drive over 100 mi a day for work. I have the premium package package in my 06 with Factory Sirius Radio. For me the Bluetooth is important as I spend time on conference calls.IMHO check out prices on a new 08. The month of December is a good month to purchase. I bought mine on December 31st 2005 & got a great deal. I was going back and forth between dealers on a Acura TL and the G35. If you can swing it I'd go for the 08 6speed manual with premium package. You can also connect an ipod.

Shop around I paid 21k for my 06 Sedan with aero, and 6 speed. It has the premium package. It had 28k when i bought it in august. It was in pearfect shape.. .Not one scratch on the thing.

Guy was in the military lol.

Look out for the deals in auto trader.

I paid cash so i didn't need financing but see if you can get pre approved for the loan from the bank. Private owner is much better... if they have all the work done at INFINITI
