Advice Needed!!! Going to look at a 93 240 fastback, future sr20 swap in mind

Hey guys. I know I'm new but I'm trying to clear up a lot of crap. On saturday I'm going to look at a 240sx, its a 1993 5spd fastback. I know maybe this should be in the other forum but the reason I'm buying the car is to do the sr20det swap in the future. What specific things should I be looking for when I go to look at this car. What I've come up with so far is Looking for rust1. In the engine bay at the strut tower2. Under the spare tire3. Wheel well

This is all I could think of besides the obvious huge dents in the body...any help would be appriciated.Thanks-Scott:help :pface

Check to see if the body is still straight, you can usually see this from the jack points under the car. You could also check the hatch for rust as well. If it has a rear windshield washer, check to make sure thats not leaking. See how the car smells and look for water leakage through a sunroof if it has one. The list goes on, basically use common sense and try to look for everything you could imagine, take pics as well for yourself to remind you how everything looks.

Aight thanks Speedracer.. the pics thing is good advice along with everything else you said. I'll keep it in mind when I go to look at it on sat.
