Ok so im finally going on my first track experience and what i wanted advice on was my wheel set up. I have two sets of wheels to use and i wanted to know how i should run them. I have a set of wats 16x7 16x8, the 16x7 wats i have to run a bolt on spacer to clear my z brakes. Then i have a set of falken hanabis, 17X9 +20 all around, these clear my zbrakes no problem. So i just wanted to know how i should run my wheels like what should i run in the front mostly.. O and also my ebrake doesnt work properly so i wont have one to use(no problem right?) i hear people use their clutch more anyway? any advice is appreciated

im pretty sure im a little late for this but..

uhmm what do you mean your ebrake wont work properly??

and i guess if you do have a spacer (depending on how big) you can run 16's since 16's ARE cheaper than 17's..

i use both clutch and ebrake, just go out there have fun its only your frist time...ask people on the track, most people will help you out

and this was the advice i got when i first started ( you need to feel your car) lol

so my advice is just go out and have fun...try doing donuts first (if they have skidpad or something) then figure 8's then move on..

umm.. if you find your self "stuck" don't get frustrated.. try diff angles.. diff. ways of attacking the corner

i havnt entered one yet but i rode with a few people at a recent drift day one of my friends was understeering a whole lot.. and he was getting frustrated which didnt help him out any.

he started to try a new approach closer to the end of the day and gradually got a lil better..

my first event shouldn't be to far away

how u liking those Megan's? u still trying to get the Stance?their were a FEW people beating on Megan Tracks out this past weekend .. and they held up great.. i say keep em
