Advice for different ex35 acquisition options

Discussion of Infiniti's amazing (and underrated) sport-luxury crossovers, the EX35 and EX37. For 2014, the EX series will be renamed QX50, in line with Ininfiit's new naming conventions.

Hello,
I have a Nissan Versa lease ending and have been looking around for options for a new car. In my search I found the ex35, which after test driving last weekend I love!

I am a big fan of getting opinions from those who own so I am hoping that some of you might be able to help me compare the different model years for the ex35 along with the financial options associated with them. Specifically, looking around online I can find some well equipped 2008 ex35's (leather, moon roof, nav being the most important option for me) for close to 25k and I also see the lease deal currently at $399 for the 2010 (plus $4k down of course).

I am a young professional and this is my 2nd car (after my versa lease) Had a good experience with the nissan and with the lease but if the ex35's hold up well wouldn't mind purchasing a used model. Has anyone owned or compared the 2008 to the 2010? I am a big fan of the high tech features so I want to know how much improvement has been made to those over time.

My biggest concern is getting a used model and having problems, I read reliability studies but they don't mean as much when looking at a specific car.

Last question. I am in the Los Angeles area (southbay specifically). If anyone has had a great or negative experience at the dealerships around LA please let me know! Thanks

I would look at what others paid for their new purchases (pinned at the top) and consider new since the 2011's are coming out and 2010 will be easier to deal for
