I got my '97 Pathfinder 4WD last August, and just recently took it on my first experimental drive down a few trails in Massachusetts. I had a blast, and have decided to see what I can do about making a respectable (and affordable) trail rig out of it.
Bonnie only has 89k miles racked up, with no major maintenance except a new water pump and timing belt (got saturated when the pump went). It's due for new tires anyways, and I was thinking about a suspension lift and something to the tune of 31" tires. Can anyone give me some advice as to where to start, with an estimate of cost, time, and effort?
