So I've had my V for 2 years now, I like it other than the annoying wind leak on the driver's door that nobody can fix. I recently got a REALLY good job after being laid off for the better part of a year. The problem is that it's literally 58 miles from my home (that I absolutely can't leave, daycare/mortgage/family issues, etc) and most of my commute is crappy stop-and-go rush hour ****. I have a 6-speed V, all the previous cars I've owned have been manuals but now I'll be spending 2+ hours a day in the car and I'm actually considering an auto/CVT Versa. Have any of you traded in, either because you wanted or had a totalled accident or whatever? Also are the CVTs better/worse, etc than the conventional autos? I just looked at the nissan website and apparently only the SL variety has the CVT, but then I'd also get the nicer interior than my S has and since I'll be spending 10-12 hours a week in there, it might be worth it. So.... help me out here, should I suck it up and just keep shifting 90 million times a day in my almost-paid-off car or go get one of those "Espresso" colored V's like I want? Thanks in advance.
Oh yeah, I like the new forum software, it's been awhile since I've been on here.

I had a 6 speed Z and really got tired of shifting in traffic. I have had a SL V for 5 months now and love it, went to buy a S model, but not only is the SL interior much better, but all the extras are nice too, bluetooth, ipod hookup, alloys, leather wrapped steering wheel, arm rest, and so on.All these things also will be a bonus if you trade in.also the Espresso" color is really nice up close, too bad the sedans don't come in it.

Whatever will be most beneficial to you.

Talk to the dealership and see what kind of deal they can make with you, and what trade in value you would get. If it works out better for you, then go for it. The SL does have some nice features to it and if you spend a lot of time in your car; you might as well enjoy being in it.

:rotfl Oh my tummy! Remove the sig quick! OW OW OW! ;)
S trim with stick will depreciate badly, sorry.
Trade it when the cramping gets so bad you can't shift any more!
Or your car-poolers can't keep their dinner down...
And the wind leak,
if it's door seal, gently bend the top of door toward body [when door open].
That may have happened when door whipped open...
If it's window leak, that's tougher.
