advancing timing on the CAS

wut are the degrees that the cas is supose to be at stock and wut are the limits if u wish to advance it

RTFSM, but IIRC its 15 BTDC. Do not play with the timing, the CA doesn't like that. You might get more performance..and you might knock to hell and lose performacne.

Physically, the CAS should be somewhere near the middle of its adjustment range, if you've got it twisted all the way to one end or another you probably don't have your cams / timing belt lined up properly.

This info is in the FSM. If you don't have a copy down loaded, please do so immediatly. Then memorize it! LOL, the link is in the stickies. There is a bit of a procedure to setting the timing and there is debate as to wheter the loop at the back of the coilpack subharness works or not. I've gotten intermitten results from it, so I always tape a plug wire to the first coil. But as listed in the sticky, the timing should be set at 15*BTDC
