is it possible to advance the timing 1 or 2 degrees on a sr boosting a max of 11 psi and running 93 octane all the time

you could but it wont do much. im running probably around 16-18* timing (stock is 15*) and i have no knock at all but i dont think theres a real gain from it. I also run 18psi from the 2871R on 93 octane.

may not notice but im sure its there sumwhere lol. im asking cuz people in cali only get 91 octane and their cars run fine. since we have 93 on the east coast might as well advance the timing a lil to gain a lil edge.

I wouldnt risk it if I were you... I have 93 and set mine at 15*... runs perfectly fine.

You really wouldnt know if your engine is completely free of knocking. Not all knocking is audible by human ears. Unless you have a knock meter to monitor your knocks.. it's a huge risk you are taking for little to no practical gain.
