Anybody whos sucked on the backing plate to the nuckle on the rear brakes and didn't clean out that hole knows where im coming from right now.. I tried sucking mine on with the impact and got it stuck.. Crooked.. So anyways.. Searched around and still can't find the answer im looking for.. not sure whats interchangable between the skyline and z32 but i believe i have the skyline rear brake set up. Everything I have bolted right together on one side, if that helps determine anything. No modifications had to be done. On the other side I smart enough to line of the holes for the hub.

Anyways... I was putting it together on my s14 nuckle and i damaged the anchor that holds the shoes, back plate, and nuckle together. So i went searching for a new one.. My friend geno had the diagram for the whole rear brake assembly and he said he would order the part through nissan for me.. He works in parts.. Well the one I got isn't the right one.. Pic: http://i31.photobucket.com/alb...0.jpgThe one on the left is the stock one I damaged.. and the one on the right is the one that is new.. Now Im trying to figure out what the one i ordered fits and which one I actually need.

Ive been looking through diagrams on courtesy's site and was looking at the z32's. I found out the part numbers are differen't from what they have written down on my reciept. I have no idea how to read part numbers, but i know you can determine stuff from the numbers, well the part number for the one i got is 44080-43P10. From looking at the z32 diagram I think I need part number 44180 RH pictured in the bottom diagram here http://www.courtesyparts.com/b....html(By bottom diagram i mean scroll all the way down..)

Any info helps.. Thanks!!

Can u post some pics??? I also have the GTR 32 brakes, and was wondering how to put them in.

Are they the same as the z32 brakes? I think the r32 rotors may be slightly larger...but I'm not sure.

Thanks in advance,

You need to order the anchor for a non-turbo Z. The turbo Zs use the larger hub that integrates a spacer in the hub to space the anchor out. The non turbo models don't have that.

And not all skylines are done the same. I have rear R32 e brakes mixed with Z32 calipers/rotors. My skyline brakes came with the larger hub that spaces the anchor out.

The hub on the right was what I pulled off the skyline's rear end.
