advance timing after auto to manual swap

I just converted my auto rb20det 240sx to a 5-speed

i was reading some spec info on the motor and it said that the stock timing on the autos is 15 and the mt is 20.

do i simply rotate the CAS a couple mm ccw to advance?

with a timing light, you watch the timing marks and adjust the CAS accordingly.

is it pretty easy to use a timing light? or should i take it to a shop? could any shop d0 this on the rb?

its easy, on the ka you need to undo the tps sensor for the timing to be savedthat way, rb too probably
