I've been using this method for a while, when I need parts and I thought i'd share it with everyone else, since it seems to be reliable. I've saved quite a bit of cash on parts and tools using this method, the catch is you have to order everything online though. You can set it to pick up in store though, if you have one locally and they have what you need in stock.

First go to Advanceautoparts.com, shop for everything you need and get it in your cart. Once you know your total go here http://www.retailmenot.com/view/advanceautoparts.com

Find a coupon code that is closest to your total (ie - 30% off of $75 if your purchase is $84.29), copy or write down the coupon code, then go back to your cart and you can apply it at the bottom. Sometimes they offer free shipping on orders over a certain amount as well, but since I have one locally, I don't bother with that. Just make sure that all items are set to pick up in store, if you intend to do that, or it will automatically try to ship it to your address.

Advance posts coupon codes on there site too, but this is a better compiled list of working coupons, so you can get the maximum amount of discount off of your purchase. It has saved me A LOT of money on my parts and tools, I got a set of $55 ramps for $30, a set of 6 NGK Iridium spark plugs for $20, and ect. Hopefully this can help save you guys some money on parts, it's helped out a lot of my friends and family already :bigthumb:

Cool, but if you're gonna buy parts online, why not just go to rockauto anyway? They give out discount coupons too, and they are far cheaper to begin with.

Dave, I agree, it's not really as beneficial if you're just going to order them online, unless you just prefer getting your parts from Advance, but it would still be much cheaper than ordering without anything at all. Personally, if Advance only had the part available online, I would check elsewhere first anyways.

As I mentioned though, with Advance you can set it to pick up in store, which for me is very beneficial(it it's in stock), since I can pick up my parts within a few minutes. I have an Advance within 5min from my house and another within 15min so it's a plus for me.

Well you are lucky to have a well stocked Advance Auto near you. Every single one (and there are at least 6) in the area never have and won't stock what I am looking for. Ever.

Yeah before we moved out here, I hated going to Advance, they never had anything in stock and I would have to wait in line forever. Honestly the service at all of them here suck actually, that's another reason I shop online instead. Then I just have to hand them a piece of paper and they bring me my crap. They're still better than going to Autozone or O'reillys though. I worked for Advance for 5yrs though, so I don't have much patience with bad service.

Whoa, nice find! I'm also a fan of Rock Auto. Lately, I've purchased most parts from specialty sites or forum sponsors.
