I just got the word. At least they can be straight up and say "we can't do it right now" which I respect; Tomei continues to jerk me around.

What about that euro company Nuked Performance? I saw a thread here linking to their stuff. Looks pretty crazy.

never talked to them. Adrenaline was stateside, that was the advantage. I can still likely get gears from Jun Tomei, maybe even HKS and Trust. I was hoping we could get a stateside supplier for you guys.

Funny you mention that because I was at an autobahn meet (where guys race up and down the autobahn) and this dudes Type-R gets wasted and when they get back and park the dude jumps out and says "FU-- my vtec is broke!"

I am trying to contact the guys from Nuke to see about the cam gears on my end. It wouldn't be a problem for me to get them and then send them out through USPS. Might save a few bucks on shipping them that way instead of shipping them international.

I got word back from Nuked Performance and they won't do them either because the group buy failed. They said they might start making them next summer.

another option here. Check out the 'anodized gear' comments. http://www.nissansilvia.com/fo...&st=0

the disc, pictured in that thread, coupled with a modified oe cam gear is all you need. http://www.nissansilvia.com/fo...07379

I'd think they would be inexpensive & ez to machine.I recall a Z31 owner similarly modifying stock sohc vg30 gears and offering them to forum enthusiasts for ~$60 ea. a while back.

If not, maybe NST could do some for the ca18 like their 4AG piece.simple and looks good .....$150/pair. (only thing I'd change is move the adjuster bolts outward, closer towards the circumference) http://www.nonstoptuning.com/pNSTcamGea ... mGears.htm

The first link said there was a problem with the first batch and had all of them recalled. Not sure if I would drop any cash on that.

I got word back from Nuked Performance and they said they would make the cam gears if there was 10 people willing to drop some cash. We all know how the last group buy on this thing went so I doubt this will happen. I would offer to accept all 10 for a one time ship to my place (sweden to Germany) then I would be able to ship them out to others from my military address. This should reduce the shipping costs but I am still waiting on how much it would be if there was 10 people who wanted these things. They did say though that if I got 10 people they could probably crank these out within the next couple of months. I am going to see if there might be some Germans interested also.

Well I got pricing back from them and with the Euro Vs Dollar right now you would be better off buying them from RHDjapan
